What We Do
Early Childhood Practitioners
Our Early Childhood Supports provide comprehensive, capacity-building assistance to children under the age of 9 who have developmental delays or disabilities. These supports are tailored to help children and their families achieve greater functional independence and social participation in various settings, including home, community, and early childhood education environments.
Developmental & Early Intervention supports include:
-
Physical Development: Supporting early motor development, coordination, and participation in play and learning activities
-
Daily Living Skills: Building independence in everyday routines such as dressing, mealtimes, organisation, and transitions
-
Communication Support: Encouraging early communication, social interaction, and expressive/receptive language through modelling, play, and responsive communication strategies
-
Social & Emotional Learning: Supporting turn‑taking, shared play, emotional understanding, and positive peer interactions
-
Educational Participation: Helping children engage in early learning environments through play‑based strategies, environmental adjustments, and collaboration with educators and families
-
Interoception & Body Awareness: Supporting children to understand their body signals, emotions, and self‑awareness through structured, playful activities
-
Developmental Observations & Screeners — Using strengths‑based observations and recognised developmental screeners to build a clear understanding of a child’s skills and support needs, guiding collaborative planning with families and relevant professionals
Our Early Childhood Practitioners work collaboratively with families, educators, and allied health professionals to support children to practise and generalise skills across everyday environments.

Therapy Assistant support may include:

-
Daily living routines: Practising skills for independence in dressing, mealtimes, organisation, and personal care.
-
Communication practice: Supporting early communication, social interaction, expressive/receptive language strategies, and modelling the use of AAC systems already set up by a Speech Pathologist
-
Social and interpersonal skills: Practising turn‑taking, play skills, and positive peer interactions
-
Emotional and regulation strategies: Supporting children to use therapist‑designed tools and routines that help with understanding feelings and staying regulated

-
Skills Groups: Opportunities to participate in small‑group programs focused on social, emotional, and functional skill development.
Therapy Assistants typically work with participants on a regular basis to reinforce therapeutic strategies, build capacity, and support progress toward individual goals.

Group Programs
Our group therapy programs are designed to be a fun and engaging way for children to meet others and create lasting connections. Facilitated by our experienced therapists, these sessions not only help in learning and developing essential skills, but also ensure that children can develop friendships with peers of their own age. We tailor our sessions so every child feels comfortable and supported while growing alongside friends. Join us for a positive and enriching group experience!
Life Skills For Teens
We support teens to build the real‑world skills they need to thrive with confidence and independence. Through partnerships with local businesses and guidance from experienced professionals, teens have opportunities to explore their strengths, develop practical life skills, and gain hands‑on experience in preparing for work, independent living, and everyday community participation.

Dedicated Key Workers
Dedicated Key Workers are highly trained and experienced professionals with specialist knowledge in early childhood intervention. They act as your family’s primary point of contact, helping to coordinate supports, simplify communication, and ensure your child’s services work together smoothly.
Key Workers collaborate closely with families and allied health professionals to align goals, coordinate appointments, and monitor progress. Their role is to provide consistent guidance, reduce overwhelm, and create a seamless, well‑organised approach to your child’s development. Most importantly, they take the pressure off families who would otherwise need to manage multiple supports on their own.
Holistic
Approach
At Therapy 2 Thrive Solutions, we are dedicated to supporting participants and families to build the skills, confidence, and independence needed at home, school, and in the community. Our team provides practical, person‑centred support that respects each individual’s strengths, preferences, and ways of engaging. We also assist families in understanding and navigating the NDIS system so they feel informed and supported.
